In the 1980s, 'Birthday Cakes' was a cherished kitchen companion, often stained with oil and chocolate. Many kids, like myself, flipped through its pages, imagining adventures and crafting the perfect birthday cake. Eventually, the cakes always ended up being just close enough to the original. In this project, striving for the most accurate replicas possible, I recreated my dream cakes, to preserve these cherished memories
as they slowly decay over time.
